Delegations of SOBNOR of Montenegro, the Organization of Homeland War Fighters 1941-1945, Capital City of Podgorica and Zeta and Tuzi, laid flowers at the monument to the executed patriots at Vreli Ribnički, located in Konik.
Vice President of SOBNOR of Montenegro, Aleksandar Maraš, said that the monument was erected in honor of 54 patriots, whose names adorn the marble.
"It is our sacred and honorable duty to permanently cherish and follow the bright achievements of our national liberation movement and to treat it with pride. This monument and other memorials, from Triglav to Đevđelija, preserve the memories of the heroic exploits of the Yugoslav partisans and should be a guide for the younger generations in preserving the traditions of our glorious NOB," said Maraš, SOBNOR announced.
