The Island of Flowers will receive a sports field and a children's playground by June 15th

The Public Company for Maritime Zone Management of Montenegro has concluded a Contract on the preparation of project documentation and execution of works on the construction of a sports field and children's playground on the Island of Flowers - Prevlaci near Tivat.

The planned project includes the development of an area of ​​approximately 700 m², which will provide this location with modern facilities intended for recreation, sports and leisure for children and young people. The new playground will be built in the area south of the main entrance, which was once intended for mini golf and similar recreational facilities when the military resort “Ostrvo cvijeća” was operating on Prevlaka.

The total value of the contracted works is approximately 80.000 euros, including VAT.

"The completion of the works is planned by June 15, 2026, which will give Tivat a new quality space for sports and play in one of its most attractive locations. By implementing this project, the Public Enterprise continues to invest in improving public spaces and facilities along the coast and creating new spaces for recreation, sports and recreation for children and young people, with the aim of improving the quality of life of the local population and all visitors." - announced the Coastal Zone.
