Pljevlja General Hospital: Expanded scope of specialist services

Pljevlja General Hospital announced that by improving its staffing capacities, especially through professional training of doctors, it has expanded the scope of specialist services it provides to its patients.

"In addition to a series of professional training and specializations of our staff, we can also boast of the successfully completed specialization of Dr. Davor Cvijović in the field of vascular surgery. Namely, Dr. Cvijović, who has been employed for a long time in our institution as a specialist in general surgery, was sent for subspecialization in the field of vascular surgery, which he completed at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and on April 22, 2026, he successfully passed the specialist exam, earning the title of specialist in vascular surgery," they stated from the Pljevlja General Hospital.

In this way, they add, the institution significantly expands the scope of specialist services and provides more comprehensive and complete healthcare to our fellow citizens.

"With the specialization of Dr. Davor Cvijović, we have become the only hospital in northern Montenegro that includes vascular surgery in its range of specialist services. By investing in staff training, the development of diagnostics, as well as in spatial and technical capacities, our institution shows that it keeps pace with modern requirements, adequately responds to the needs of service users, and thus makes the development of healthcare in our municipality successful. We will continue to develop our institution in accordance with the demands of the profession, expand specialist services, provide adequate treatment conditions for our patients, as well as the working conditions of our employees," said the Pljevlja General Hospital.
