Government: Sergej Ćetković, Knez, No Name, Daniel Popović... will perform during the three-day celebration of the restoration of independence

The coordinating body for the organization of the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro's independence announces a rich musical program that will bring together some of the most important names on the Montenegrin music scene within the three-day celebration, the Government of Montenegro announced today.

"The audience can expect a diverse and dynamic musical program featuring performances by Sergej Ćetković, Nenad Knežević Knez, Bojan Marović, No Name, Daniel Popović, Andrijana Božović, Nina Žižić, Milena Vučić, Isak Šabanović, Tamara Živković, Baryak, Samir Ramović and Bubnjivi & Psi," the statement said.

The government added that "this carefully designed program brings together different musical styles and generations of performers, confirming the richness of the domestic scene."

"The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy recognizable hits, strong interpretations and energetic performances that will mark the three-day celebration. The participation of renowned domestic artists gives special value to the entire event, emphasizing the importance of culture and music as an important segment of contemporary Montenegrin society. The three-day program, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Association of Entertainers and Performers of Montenegro, is designed as an event that brings together audiences of all generations with good energy and quality musical content. That is why we have prepared additional content, which we will present in the coming days," the statement reads.

The Government said that they invite "all citizens, as well as visitors, to be part of this unique celebration and to mark a significant anniversary together, with the music of local performers."

On the official Facebook page of the Government of Montenegro, it was announced yesterday that musician Ricky Martin will perform at Podgorica's Independence Square as part of the celebration of two decades since the independence of the state of Montenegro - May 21st.
