As part of the "Our City, Our Od(b)raz" campaign, on Friday, May 8, a waste removal campaign will be organized on the Carev Most-Ostrog Monastery stretch, which will symbolically mark Europe Day, the Ecological Movement Ozon announced today.
"In addition to the signatories of the Memorandum of Cooperation of the Municipality of Nikšić, the Nikšić Tourist Organization, the Nikšić Municipal Corporation, Radio Television Nikšić, the Electric Power Company of Montenegro, the Nikšić Capital of Culture 2030 Office and the Ozon Ecological Movement, the Orthodox Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, the Budimljan-Niksić Diocese, the Municipality of Danilovgrad and the 'Keep Your Eyes on You' campaign team will also join the action, which gives special value to the joint efforts to keep our city tidy and show its beauty to all domestic and foreign tourists who will pass by on the road from the Emperor's Bridge to the Ostrog Monastery," the statement states.
Ozon added that the action begins at nine o'clock, and that the meeting point is Carev most, where the participants of the action will be divided into several groups in order to achieve the best possible effects.
"After the end of the action, a visit to the Ostrog Monastery will be organized, so we invite all interested citizens to join us," reads a statement from the Ozon Ecological Movement, signed by executive director Aleksandar Perović.
