Pljevlja: Support for young families, the Municipality co-finances interest on housing loans

The Secretariat for Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Pljevlja has announced a public call for the allocation of non-refundable funds intended for young families who want to solve their housing issue. The program refers to co-financing the costs of purchasing or building housing, and the funds are provided from the municipal budget.

Young families, married and unmarried partners, as well as single parents, are eligible to participate, provided that at least one of the partners is no older than 45 years old on the date of the call. Candidates must be citizens of Montenegro with permanent residence in the municipality of Pljevlja, with no outstanding obligations to the municipality and without ownership of a residential building in the territory of the state.

The 2026 budget has allocated a total of 117.400 euros for this purpose. The funds will be used to co-finance interest on housing loans, and the maximum amount of support is up to 100 euros per month, for a period of up to ten years, in accordance with the loan repayment amortization plan.

This program represents significant assistance to young families in Pljevlja, with the aim of improving housing conditions and encouraging young people to stay in this municipality.
