A total of 2.988 officially registered guests are currently staying in all types of registered accommodation in the Tivat Riviera area, which is at the same level as last year.
This was announced by the Tivat Tourist Organization (TO), noting that the majority of the total number of tourists are foreign guests, while only 45 visitors are from Montenegro.
The largest number of guests - 2.417 of them - use the services of private accommodation providers. This type of accommodation is currently three percent less visited than at the same time last year, while hotels, which accommodate 571 tourists, are recording four percent better occupancy than on the same day last year.
The largest number of guests to the Tivat Riviera still come from Russia and Serbia, as they together account for more than half of the total tourist traffic.
"There is also a noticeable increase in interest from tourists from Western European countries, primarily Great Britain and Germany, while a significant number of guests also come from the region. Among the more important markets are Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Croatia, Albania and the USA, which confirms the diverse structure of foreign visitors," said the Tivat Tourist Board.
