Bijelo Polje: Three requests were submitted to initiate misdemeanor proceedings for illegal dumping of waste

As part of the campaign to increase control of illegal waste disposal, entitled "Let's protect the environment together - report illegal waste disposal", Municipal Police officers submitted three requests to initiate misdemeanor proceedings to the Bijelo Polje Misdemeanor Court.

The claims were filed against SL (1961) from Bijelo Polje, for dumping municipal and other waste in the town of Vrbe, SV (2003), for dumping municipal waste in Tomaša Žižića Street, and KA (1990), for dumping municipal waste in Voja Lješnjaka Street.

"The persons SV and KA improperly disposed of waste next to the waste disposal containers, even though they were properly emptied by the utility company," they said in the statement.

The Municipality of Bijelo Polje appeals to all citizens to contribute to the preservation of the cleanliness of our city by acting responsibly towards the environment and invites them to report any illegal waste disposal.
