The Cabinet of the President of Montenegro responded to the article "Because of the godfather and wife, they endangered the public interest: ASK determined that the assignment of Grgurović to the KCCG indicates corruption", published on the portal.
We transmit the answer in full:
"Regarding the renewed attempt to link the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, with personnel decisions in state institutions, without a single piece of evidence confirming such a connection, we announce the following:
The President of Montenegro did not participate in the deployment, appointment, promotion, or any other personnel decision at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
Every citizen has the right to know all the facts about the actions of state institutions. Likewise, every citizen has the right not to be implicated in any action without facts and evidence, simply because of personal or family relationships.
"Citizens have the right to know the truth: President Milatović has nothing to do with this personnel procedure."
