The additionally strengthened human resources capacities of the Basic Court in Rožaje will enable even more efficient exercise of citizens' rights and timely provision of legal protection, said the President of the Supreme Court, Valentina Pavličić.
She paid a working visit to the Basic Court in Rožaje, where she met with the President of the Court, Mirsad Mujević, as well as with the newly elected judges, Rijalda Zejnelagić and Samir Murić.
The Supreme Court announced that during the meeting, the functioning of the Rožaje Basic Court, improving work efficiency and strengthening human resources, considering that the court had been operating with only one judge for a long period of time.
It is stated that Pavličić has provided support to the work of the Basic Court in Rožaje so far.
She emphasized that she is convinced that additionally strengthened human resources capacities will enable even more efficient exercise of citizens' rights and timely provision of legal protection.
"Pavličić particularly praised the court's management for the quality internal organization of work, as well as the successful implementation of the project to adapt and equip court premises, which created better working conditions for judicial officials and employees, as well as better quality services to citizens," the statement said.
It is stated that as part of the visit, a meeting was held with the head of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Rožaje, Aldin Kalač, the president of the Rožaje Municipality, Rahman Husović, the head of the Rožaje Security Department, Vladimir Delević, and the representative of the attorneys, Mersudin Dautoović.
"The meeting discussed issues of importance for improving inter-institutional cooperation, with a special focus on ensuring the continuity of effective, efficient and timely action by judicial institutions in the interest of citizens," the statement added.
Pavličić emphasized that strong cooperation between judicial institutions with the local community and other competent authorities is an important prerequisite for strengthening citizens' trust in the judicial system and the rule of law.
