Due to the installation of a new steel pipeline of the Regional Water Supply System of the Montenegrin Coast, on the Jaz - Tivat Boulevard route, the Water Supply and Sewerage Company (ViK Tivat) announced that there will be a complete suspension of water supply from the Regional Water Supply System from May 11 to 19.
"The appeal of ViK Tivat on this occasion is to strictly rationally consume water during the mentioned days, because all local water sources will be put into operation. In this way, by joining forces, an attempt will be made to ensure water supply throughout the territory of Tivat during the day, while restrictions will be introduced during the night," the Tivat Waterworks stated.
As they specified, May 11th is scheduled for the emptying of the current Regional Water Supply Pipeline along the route of the new boulevard, after which the subcontractor will begin work on relocating the existing infrastructure.
The Municipality of Tivat and ViK say that they are in constant communication with the Regional Water Supply and Contractors, "in order to find the most acceptable model for carrying out the works and reduce the number of days in which Tivat will be without water."
