Action by Budva caterers and DDDK "Radivoj Pima": 102 units of blood collected

Organized by the Budva Catering Association, in cooperation with the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors "Radivoj Pima" from Budva, the fourth traditional voluntary blood donation campaign was successfully held today.

"The event was organized outdoors, in front of the walls of the Old Town, which makes it unique and recognizable, and that is precisely why the bad weather conditions posed an additional challenge for the organization and implementation of the event. However, despite the rain and unfavorable weather conditions, the event took place in an exceptionally good atmosphere and a great response from humane people, and 102 units of blood were collected. We are especially pleased with the fact that as many as 11 people donated blood for the first time, thus showing their willingness to help those who need help the most," the Association of Catering Professionals points out.

They thanked their colleagues who responded to the action, all voluntary donors, as well as everyone who helped organize this humane action with donations of food, drinks, and support.

"Budva has once again shown that it is a city with a big heart, a city of humanity and solidarity, and that Budva's caterers, in addition to their work, always have an ear for those who need help. Together, we continue to nurture the spirit of humanity and send the message that one blood donation can save someone's life," they point out along with the Budva Catering Association.
