Tivat: Contract signed for the development of a project for an open-air market facility

The President of the Municipality of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, signed a contract for the development of the main design for the open-air market facility with "Optimus project" doo.

"This concludes the public procurement procedure for the development of the main project for the Tivat open-air city market. The value of this service is €66.499,72, and the deadline for the development of the project is 90 days," the local government announced yesterday.

The main design of the Tivat market will be based on the award-winning conceptual design by Srđan Tadić, Aleksandar Marsenić and Bojan Vlahović. Their design was declared the best in a public competition conducted by the Office of the Chief City Architect of the Municipality of Tivat in 2025.

The location where the construction of the city market with the associated infrastructure is planned has an area of ​​3.885m2 and is located in the city center in the immediate vicinity of Njegoševa Street, behind the “Pine” hotel. The project plans to transform this space into a decorated multifunctional square and market, with the aim of making it a gathering place throughout the day.
