The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), led by Director Ivan Šćekić, has complied with and implemented all recommendations of the State Audit Institution (SAI), which related to irregularities identified in operations before the mandate of this management, the institution announced.

As they said, the competent Collegium of the SAI concluded that the Agency implemented all 25 recommendations in just over a year, which is why further monitoring of their implementation is not necessary.

"The report on the implementation of the recommendations was submitted to the Agency, and it was announced that it will also be sent to the competent committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as published on the SAI website. We remind you that the State Audit Institution gave a positive opinion with a note of caution on the Agency's annual financial report and a negative opinion on the regularity of operations for 2023, which they noted in a report adopted in mid-September 2024. The Agency submitted the final report on the implemented recommendations to the SAI for control in mid-December 2025," the statement reads.

They point out that the Director of the CAA and the Council of the Civil Aviation Agency have independently initiated the process of improving operations and eliminating irregularities and inconsistencies from the past, which were also pointed out by the State Audit Institution during the audit.
