Young and educated people are key partners in the continuation of reform processes and Montenegro's further progress on the path towards full membership in the European Union (EU), said Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj.
As announced by the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA), Dukaj discussed topics of importance for youth and the improvement of the public administration system with representatives of the Student Council of the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN) of the University of Montenegro.
Dukaj emphasized that the MPA remains open to dialogue with young people, especially with students who, with their knowledge, energy and ideas, represent an important potential for social development.
"Young people are the spark of every good change and a strong driver of a modern, responsible and European society. That is why it is important that institutions are open to their ideas, initiatives and critical thinking," said Dukaj.
He emphasized that FPN students, through their academic activities and social engagement, make a significant contribution to strengthening democratic culture and affirming European values in Montenegro, and pointed out that it is young people who represent the future of modern and efficient public administration.
Dukaj said that the MPA remains strongly committed to cooperation with students and the academic community, because they see young and educated people as key partners in the continuation of reform processes and further progress of Montenegro on the path to full membership in the EU.
"Students have numerous perspectives in public administration, and our common goal must be to build institutions as places of knowledge, integrity, and excellence," Dukaj emphasized.
Representatives of the Student Council, led by Vedran Vujisić, thanked Dukaj for his willingness to cooperate and the opportunity to learn about the work of the Ministry and current reform processes in the field of public administration through direct conversation.
"The interlocutors expressed their mutual willingness to continue cooperation through future activities, projects and initiatives that will contribute to stronger connections between institutions, youth and the academic community," the statement said.
