Numerous volunteers, members of the Association of National Liberation War Veterans (UBNOR) and workers of the Public Utilities Company began decorating the center of Kolašin today ahead of the celebration of 20 years since the restoration of Montenegro's independence - May 21st.

The celebration of the anniversary, as well as the decoration of the city, is coordinated by a Commission composed of councilors from the government and opposition, representatives of local institutions and businesses, headed by the President of the Municipal Assembly (MA) of Kolašin, Vasilije Bulatović.

A rich program is planned for the coming days, which will begin with a concert by the singing group Đude on May 16th.

An exhibition by the famous cartoonist Darko Drljević will open on May 18th at the Kolašin Cultural Center, while the promotion of the book about Dragan Kujović is planned for May 20th.

The central ceremony and cocktail will be held at the Soldiers' Square on May 21st at 10 a.m. During the day, a mixed choir, violinist Jan, and participants in the children's program will perform.

The ceremonial academy will begin at 19 p.m., after which DJ Mirko Lucin, the Šendon band and Hari Mata Hari will perform on the town square.

The anniversary celebration will conclude with a full-day program on May 22nd, when activities for children, an exhibition of women painters, as well as performances by DJ Mirko Lucin, the Perper group, and Rudolf are planned.
