After a year of work and traffic collapse, citizens have received two lanes instead of four, no sidewalks and no completed infrastructure, half a roundabout, while key intersections, where the most traffic jams occur, have not been completed, and due to unfinished work and open parts of the route, the safety of all traffic participants is seriously questioned.
This was stated by the head of the European Union councilors' club in the capital, Miloš Mašković, after Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović announced tonight that the first phase of Vojislavljevića Boulevard, from King Nikola Street to Princess Ksenija Street, was open to traffic.
"The mayor without a majority, under pressure from his own unfulfilled promises, today solemnly opened half of the roundabout and only one side of the first section of Vojislavljević Boulevard. Where is this?", asked Mašković in a post on Iksu. "He doesn't have a majority, he doesn't fulfill his promises, but the need for crisis political marketing has obviously never been greater," the European Union councilor stated.
