Instead of being fresh for just a few days, bouquets and rose bears made by Bjelopoljka Stasa Radovic they literally last forever.

Although she is 13 years old, the lovely girl from Bijelo Polje already has hundreds of hours of work behind her and thousands of crafted petals that adorn not only homes in Bijelo Polje, but also beyond.

As she told "Vijesti", it all started last year when she realized she didn't have enough money to buy her mother a gift for March 8th.

"I wanted to surprise her and spent days thinking about what I could do with my own hands that would still have flowers. That's how I came up with the idea of trying to make a bouquet of roses," said Staša, adding that she found the details of how to make it online.

Staša has a talent for various crafts, according to her mother. Svetlana - Beti, began to express herself very early, from the age of six or seven.

"In the beginning, I made so-called 'Pinterest figurines', and then bracelets out of rubber bands and various beads. After making them, my friends and I would set up a cardboard 'stall' at the top of the street and sell them," says the girl, adding with a smile that we would all then go to the nearby market together to get something sweet.

The news about the unreal beauty of the roses spread like wildfire, starting with relatives whose homes, in anticipation of holidays and birthdays, soon began to be decorated with Staša's bouquets.

Her grandmother was among the first to learn about the golden hands. A she-wolf, in front of whose yard passers-by often stop precisely because of the unreal sights - garden roses.

"I was surprised and amazed by the gift. Every time I look at those roses, I comment out loud on my admiration," said Vukica.

And that's how it all began. Demand soon started to rise, and the first orders and then recommendations began to pour in.

"I'm especially happy that I often get called by the mothers of my customers and share their enthusiasm. It means a lot to me because I'm very happy while I'm making bouquets and thinking about how the result of that work will turn out," said Staša.

Her mother, as she told us, was pleasantly surprised when Staša, before the seventh graders' recent trip to Cetinje, told her that she didn't need pocket money and that she had earned it herself during those days.

And since it all started last March 8th, for this year's holiday she decided to rent a stall in the town square. Despite her dad's opposition Aleksandra Despite her mother's arguments against it - that it was too cold to be outside for days and doubts like "where would a small child be selling on the street?" - Staša persisted in her pleas. Her persistence was soon rewarded by the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, which did not charge her for her stall.

As her family members say, in those days the rooms of the apartment were filled beyond recognition with materials: silk, satin and rose petals. In that creative environment, she also had the sweetest reinforcement - her six-year-old sister. Spark who, surrounded by her sister's dreams, helped sort materials, bouquets...

"I made about a hundred roses and other flowers. It wasn't difficult for me to sell, I actually enjoyed it, and when I got tired, my older sister would take over for me." AndreaShe sold the last bouquet and conveyed the customers' impressions that 'it would have been better if there had been a hundred more'”.

What fulfills her most is making teddy bears out of roses, which are most often sent to girls by young men for birthdays and other celebrations through her Instagram profile.

As Staša explains, she quickly acquired a routine for making roses, whose petals lined up like pearls before the eyes of the "Vijesti" journalist.

"It takes me a few hours to a few days to make a bouquet. It takes a little more time and effort for the teddy bears because they are made up of a large number of small roses," says the young woman from Bjelopolje.

One rose requires about twenty petals, teddy bears require about 2.000, and larger bouquets require about 7.000.

Like her peers, Staša enjoys hanging out with her friends from school and the street. She is currently researching ideas for new flower arrangements. For now, no one can even guess what these hardworking hands will create in the future, nor whether she will remain self-taught in that regard.
