DRI: Montefarm implemented seven recommendations, one in the implementation phase

The new management of the public pharmacy institution Montefarm has implemented seven out of eight recommendations of the State Audit Institution (SAI), while one recommendation is in the implementation phase, SAI.

The statement states that the SAI has carried out a control of the implementation of the recommendations given in the Report on the Audit of the Annual Financial Report and Regularity of Operations of the Health Institution Pharmacy of Montenegro (ZUACG) Montefarm for 2022.

The SAI said that the competent Collegium of that institution, consisting of: Senator Branislav Radulović - Head of the Collegium and Senator Milan Dabović - Member of the Collegium, concluded that ZUACG Montefarm, as the subject of the audit, had carried out certain activities by the time of submission of the fourth Report on the Implementation of Recommendations dated April 17, 2026, and of the remaining eight unimplemented recommendations, seven recommendations had been implemented, while one recommendation was in the implementation phase.

"The recommendation that has been assigned the status of being implemented refers to the obligation to pay compensation and other income to members of the Board of Directors based on the decision issued by the body that appointed them, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 2 and 35 of the Law on Salaries of Public Sector Employees. In this regard, in accordance with the Guidelines for the preparation, monitoring and control of the implementation of SAI recommendations, the competent SAI Collegium concluded that ZUACG Montefarm is obliged to submit to SAI evidence of the implementation of recommendation P-9 (consent of the Ministry of Finance and decision of the Government) within six months, no later than October 30, 2026," the statement reads.
