Whether it's because of the musical program that will mark 20 years since the restoration of Montenegro's independence tonight or simply because many Podgorica residents want to use the holiday to visit Cetinje or the coast, there are huge traffic jams on the main road from the capital to the Royal Capital.
Rivers of cars are flowing towards Cetinje, as shown by the footage that readers submitted to "Vijesti".
Tonight, one of the biggest stars of the ex-Yugoslav pop scene, Dino Merlin, will give a concert at the Palace Square in Cetinje, and at the same venue from 7:30 PM, a program by the NGO Montenegrin Cultural Network will be held.
The atmosphere in Cetinje is already celebratory, and the squares are filled with citizens celebrating the anniversary with songs and torches.
