The Youth Office of the Capital City has officially begun cooperation with the European platform "Cities of Learning", which brings together cities and organizations dedicated to youth development, non-formal education and international cooperation, the Capital City announced.
As they state, in the coming period they expect to connect with European cities and partners, expand their network of contacts, exchange good practices, as well as more active involvement in Erasmus+ programs and other European initiatives for youth.
"This step represents another important activity in the preparations for the title of European Youth Capital 2028, confirming Podgorica's commitment to opening new opportunities for young people to learn, move and actively participate in society," they said.
They add that cooperation with the "Cities of Learning" platform will contribute to strengthening the international visibility of Podgorica in the field of youth policy, as well as creating new opportunities for connecting local institutions, organizations and young people with partners from different cities.
"This network will enable the exchange of experiences, the development of joint projects and the promotion of innovative approaches to learning and working with young people, which certainly shows that Podgorica continues to build an open and stimulating environment for young people, creating conditions for their personal and professional development and an active role in social processes," the statement concludes.
