The Mayor of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, signed contracts with the winners of funds from a public competition to support women's entrepreneurship, for which 50.000 euros were allocated this year, the local government announced.
He congratulated the winners and wished them success in implementing their projects.
"I also congratulate the Commission on a job well done, as always. We will look to increase the budget for women's entrepreneurship in the coming years and to provide more incentives to our fellow citizens, who are a great strength of our society and our community," Kovačević emphasized.
Vice President of the Municipality of Nikšić and President of the Commission for Women's Entrepreneurship, Zoran Tomić, said that this year's competition attracted extremely high interest, with more than 50 applications received.
"Congratulations on your ideas being the best among the applications received. So far, we have had great ideas and good business plans, so we are continuing with the same intensity. The local government will be your reliable partner and support in all future endeavors and development initiatives. We want to help everyone who wants to work on their own development, but also the development of the municipality of Nikšić, so that we can jointly contribute to making this city a better place to live," said Tomić.
As stated in the statement, the entrepreneurs thanked the representatives of the Municipality of Nikšić for the support provided, emphasizing that it represents a significant incentive for the further development and improvement of their own businesses.
