At today's session, the Government adopted information on the introduction of the basic and master's academic study program Special Education and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro (UCG), the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) announced.

As explained by the department, undergraduate studies will last three years (180 ECTS), and master's studies will last two years (120 ECTS).

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said that the special importance of introducing these studies is reflected in the fact that qualifications in the field of special education and rehabilitation could not previously be acquired in Montenegro, but only at universities in the region and abroad.

"These are programs that have been created precisely in accordance with the needs of the labor market and the education, health and social protection systems, and which will enable the education of experts in fields for which there is a pronounced need," the statement said.
