The second edition of the Kolašin Echo festival, which will be held from June 26th to 28th, will feature Sanja Vučić, Mirza Selimović and the group SARS.

During the festival, as announced by the Secretariat for Finance, Property and Economic Development, which organizes the event, numerous outdoor activities will be organized, including quad rides, hiking tours, electric bike tours, via ferrata and other activities intended for nature lovers and active vacationers. A special segment of the festival will be activities for children and families, with which the organizers strive to offer a quality program for all generations. The festival partners are the Tourist Organization of Kolašin and the Ski Resorts of Montenegro.

The festival, as stated by the organizers, represents a continuation of activities aimed at improving the tourist offer of Kolašin, supporting the local economy, and strengthening the city's recognition as a destination that offers its visitors content throughout the year.

"Kolašin Echo is not intended only as a festival event, but as a platform for promoting the tourist potential of Kolašin, supporting the local economy and strengthening the city's recognition as a destination for active holidays throughout the year. It is the combination of a music program, outdoor activities and promotion of the tourist offer that makes Kolašin Echo a unique festival concept in the north of Montenegro," said Secretary for Finance, Property and Economic Development Vuk Vuković.

According to him, in addition to the evening music program, the festival will offer various outdoor activities throughout all three days that will allow visitors to directly experience the natural beauty and tourist potential of Kolašin.

An important segment of this concept is being implemented in cooperation with the Kolašin Tourist Organization, with the aim of promoting active vacations, the natural potential of the destination, and the local tourism economy.

"The outdoor program will include quad bike rides, hiking tours, electric bike tours, via ferrata and other activities that further promote Kolašin as a destination for spending time in nature and active holidays. In this way, the festival goes beyond the framework of a classical music event and becomes a platform for presenting the entire tourist offer of the city."

"Special attention this year has been dedicated to building a recognizable festival identity through a modern visual concept, digital marketing campaigns and carefully designed communication with the audience. The goal is for Kolašin Echo to gradually grow into a recognizable festival brand that will contribute to the promotion of the city, its tourist potential and the overall recognition of Kolašin on the regional market," said Vuković.

He points out that the significance of the festival goes beyond the cultural program itself, as a larger number of guests contributes to higher occupancy rates in accommodation facilities, increased turnover in the hospitality and trade sectors, as well as additional income for the local economy. Therefore, the organizers see Kolašin Echo as an investment in the development of the local economy and the promotion of Kolašin as a tourist destination.

As part of the festival program, a daily party will be organized at the ski resort, in cooperation with the Ski Resorts of Montenegro, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the festival atmosphere at one of the most attractive mountain locations in Montenegro.

"The development of a tourist destination does not depend solely on infrastructure. Equally important are the contents and events that create a reason for people to visit a certain place, stay there longer and return again. Our ambition is not just to organize a successful festival. We want Kolašin Echo to grow together with the city from year to year and become a recognizable event that contributes to the development of tourism, the promotion of the local economy and the strengthening of the identity of Kolašin," said Vuković.

He recalls that the premiere edition of the festival, held last year, attracted a large number of visitors and elicited very positive reactions from the audience.
