Sveti Stefan Local Community submits request to the Municipal Inspection to remove the gate from Queen's Beach

Following the criminal complaint filed by representatives of the Sveti Stefan Local Community against the Adriatic Properties company, municipal and state authorities, as well as responsible persons, today the Sveti Stefan Local Community submitted a request to the Municipal Inspection of the Municipality of Budva for the removal of, as they claim, an illegally placed object on the public promenade near Kraljičina plaza.

"We are writing to you with this letter requesting that you remove the illegally placed object – a fence/gate – from the public area, the pedestrian path near the Queen's Beach in Miločer, which is marked in the cadastral records in the Real Estate List number 1054 as cadastral plot 1931/4 KO Sveti Stefan, with registered ownership rights of the state of Montenegro in the scope of 1/1 and the method of use 'promenade', i.e. to enable the passage of pedestrians along this promenade, which is currently disabled," the request submitted to "Vijesti" reads.

As reported, a gate was recently installed on the promenade near Queen's Beach in Miločer, blocking the passage of citizens and tourists.

"This prevents the use of this public footpath and promenade along the Queen's Beach," the request states.

The Sveti Stefan Local Community states that they are submitting documentation to support their claims with the request.

"As evidence, we attach the Real Estate List No. 1054, which clearly shows that the pedestrian path in question, i.e. cadastral plot 1931/4 KO Sveti Stefan, is marked as a promenade, a Geoportal image with the plot mark, as well as the Administrative Court's judgment in case U.br. 3458/20 of September 12, 2022, from the time before the parcelization when the plot in question bore the mark 1931/1," states the request of the Sveti Stefan Local Community.
