From July 29 to August 2, Montenegro will host EMAG26 (European Mensas Annual Gathering), the largest annual gathering of members of European Mensa organizations, Mensa Montenegro announced.
As they stated, over the course of five days, Podgorica will host more than 800 participants from over 40 countries in Europe and the world, making Montenegro the host of one of the largest international intellectual gatherings this year.
EMAG26 is organized by Mensa Montenegro, and the event is taking place in the year when the international organization Mensa celebrates its 80th anniversary.
The main part of the program will be implemented at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, where lectures, workshops and panels in the fields of science, technology, artificial intelligence, psychology, culture, art and social topics will be organized.
In addition to the professional part of the program, tourist activities are also planned for the participants. From July 26 to 28, a pre-tour will be organized, which includes rafting on the Tara River and a tour of northern Montenegro, while after the end of the conference, from August 2 to 5, a post-tour through Kotor and the Bay of Kotor is planned.

Organizers expect the presence of more than 800 guests, including participants of the event, representatives of state institutions, the diplomatic corps, the economy, the academic community, culture and public life.
"EMAG26 carries exceptional tourist, economic and cultural potential. Hundreds of participants from all over the world will spend several days in Montenegro, while through the communication channels of national Mensa organizations and Mensa International, information about the event and our country will reach tens of thousands of people around the world. This is an opportunity for Montenegro to present its natural beauty, scientific and innovation capacities, cultural heritage and hospitality to an international audience of high educational and professional profile," the organizers announced.
