Clinical center receives gynecological examination chair adapted for women with disabilities

The Clinical Center of Montenegro received a modern gynecological examination chair adapted for women with disabilities, worth more than 11.000 euros.

The gynecological chair, they add, is equipped with additional features that include a carousel for the operator, a seat heater, remote Wi-Fi control, and a roll paper holder, which improves the working conditions of medical staff and increases the comfort of patients.

"This modern equipment is intended for the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the KCCG and represents a significant contribution to improving the quality of health services and conditions for providing health care to patients. The donation is given special value by the fact that it was realized through a joint contribution from employees and the company Sava osiguranje. By allocating part of their earnings, Sava osiguranje employees made a significant contribution to the purchase of equipment, while the company provided the remaining funds necessary for the realization of the donation, confirming its commitment to socially responsible business," the statement states.

In the implementation of this humanitarian initiative, Andrea Nikolić established cooperation with the Union of Paraplegic Associations of Montenegro, which, based on the needs of its membership and many years of experience in improving the position of persons with disabilities, provided professional and logistical support in defining needs and selecting appropriate medical equipment.

The Minister of Health in the Government of Montenegro, Vojislav Šimun, emphasized that the donation from Sava Insurance represents a significant contribution to improving the conditions for providing gynecological healthcare in the KCCG.

"As a gynecologist, I particularly appreciate the importance of modern medical equipment that enables better quality work for healthcare workers, but also greater comfort and safety for patients. This donation has additional value because it is a gynecological examination chair adapted to women with disabilities, which improves accessibility to healthcare and enables a more dignified and high-quality examination for all women. I would like to thank Sava Insurance for its socially responsible attitude and support for the healthcare system of Montenegro, because such initiatives directly contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and healthcare standards," said Minister Šimun.

The Director of KCCG, Aleksandar Radović, thanked Sava Insurance for the valuable donation, emphasizing that the support of socially responsible companies is of particular importance for the development of the healthcare system.

"Continuous improvement of the quality of healthcare is one of our priorities, and such donations enable additional modernization of medical equipment and the creation of even better conditions for examination and treatment of patients. On behalf of the Clinical Center of Montenegro and our patients, I would like to thank Sava Insurance for recognizing the needs of the largest healthcare institution in the country and for its demonstrated social responsibility," said Dr. Radović.

The Director of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Dr. Goran Lazarević, emphasized that the new equipment will significantly contribute to a higher level of quality in the daily work of medical staff and improve the comfort of patients.

"A modern gynecological examination chair provides better conditions for performing examinations and medical procedures, with a greater level of comfort and safety for patients. This donation represents a valuable contribution to improving the work of our Clinic and the quality of the healthcare services we provide," said Dr. Lazarević.

On the occasion of this valuable donation, the Director of KCCG, Dr. Radović, presented the Executive Director of Sava Insurance, Nebojša Šćekić, with a certificate of appreciation as an expression of recognition for socially responsible business and support for improving the conditions for providing healthcare in the largest healthcare institution in Montenegro.

And the donation, as they state, was made at the initiative of Andrea Nikolić, a humanitarian and activist dedicated to improving the position of people with disabilities, with the aim of providing women with disabilities with easier and more affordable access to gynecological examinations.
