The Election and Appointments Committee of the Capital City Assembly has established a list of timely and complete proposals for candidates for members of the Council of Radio and Television "Podgorica", consisting of Nataša Nelević and Stojan Sjekloća.
Five members of the city's Board of Elections and Appointments voted in favor of it.
The remaining two candidates - Savo Šofranac and Danilo Milić - did not meet the conditions required by the public invitation.
The session was attended by Movement for Podgorica councilor Miloš Krstović, Democratic People's Party (DNP) parliamentarian Vladimir Bulatović, and Democrats parliamentarian Jovana Mijović.
The session was also attended by New Serbian Democracy (NSD) councilor Mitar Šušić. On the opposition side was the head of the European Union (EU) in the city parliament, Miloš Mašković.
The President of the Board, Anđela Mićović, reminded that the Public Call for two new members of the Council of the Local Public Broadcaster was announced on April 16th of this year.
There were three candidates on behalf of non-governmental organizations in the field of human rights and freedoms protection, environmental protection or consumer rights protection: Nataša Nelević (12 proposers), Stojan Sjekloća (three proposers) and Savo Šofranac (17 proposers). Proposers on behalf of sports organizations opted for Danilo Milić (11 proposers).
