The Municipality of Kolašin has issued two public calls for proposals aimed at improving beekeeping, as well as the processing and packaging of agricultural products, as part of the Program of Incentive Measures in Agriculture for 2026.
The aim of the measures, the local administration explains, is to strengthen the competitiveness of local farms and improve their production capacities. They expect that these measures will contribute to the development of beekeeping, increase the level of processing of agricultural products and create added value in agriculture, thereby encouraging sustainable rural development and strengthening the local economy.
The public call for the improvement of beekeeping is intended for registered agricultural holdings whose owners reside in the territory of the municipality of Kolašin. The right to support can be exercised by holdings registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings that own from five to 50 bee colonies. The municipality will allocate 10 euros per bee colony for this measure, so beneficiaries can receive support in the amount of 50 to 500 euros, depending on the number of hives.
At the same time, a public call for support for the processing and packaging of agricultural products was announced, which provides for co-financing the purchase of equipment for the processing, packaging and storage of dairy products, fruit products and field crops. Among the eligible investments are duplicators, lactofreezers, brandy boilers, fruit presses, vacuum sealers and other equipment necessary for improving production. The municipality will finance 80 percent of the investment value, and the maximum amount of support per beneficiary is 1.500 euros.
Public calls are open from July 2 to 17, or until the funds provided for in the budget for these measures are spent.
