A new clinic of the Capital City Health Center (DZGG) has opened in Dajbabe, which, as announced by the health institution, has improved the availability of primary healthcare for more than three thousand residents of the area.
It is reported that the opening of the new clinic was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health, DZGG, the Secretariat for Public Administration, and the Local Community (MZ) of Dajbaba.
Director of DZGG Dragana Durković Perović emphasized that the project represents much more than opening a new space for providing health services.
"The opening of the clinic confirms our commitment to making healthcare more accessible, of higher quality and closer to every citizen," said Durković Perović.
According to her, primary health care must be a support for every individual and every family, and, as she added, projects like this show that they take that responsibility seriously.
She said that residents of Dajbab and surrounding settlements will in the future be able to receive health services faster and with better quality in modern conditions and in their community.
"Our obligation is to continue investing in people, equipment and infrastructure because only in this way can we respond to the needs of a modern healthcare system and justify the trust of our citizens," said Durković Perović.
The Acting Director General of the Directorate for Health Care and Regulated Professions, Ljiljana Vujišić, assessed that the new clinic symbolizes the commitment of institutions to making healthcare more accessible and closer to citizens.
She pointed out the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in the implementation of the project, stating that through the adaptation of the Dajbabe Community Center premises, numerous works were carried out that enabled the clinic to be functional, safe and worthy of providing health services.
The representative of the Dajbabe Local Community, Sanja Šišević, thanked the director of the Health Center for the efficient implementation of the initiative and the successful opening of the clinic, as stated in the statement.
She also thanked the Ministry of Health, which, as she stated, recognized the importance of the project and provided full support for its implementation, as well as the Secretariat for Local Self-Government, the Capital City, and the Housing Agency.
"It was concluded that the new clinic in Dajbabe will be a place of professional healthcare, trust and safety for the citizens for whom it is intended, and further proof that by working together, institutions can build a more accessible and high-quality system," the statement said.
