Montenegro's most valuable resource is not its natural resources, but its people, their knowledge, talent and willingness to contribute to the development of society with their work, said Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović.

Krapović and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro (AVCG) Miodrag Vuksanović received today Second Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Montenegro Strahinja Janjušević, on the occasion of his exceptional academic achievements and training at one of the world's most prestigious universities.

The Ministry of Defense said that Janjušević successfully completed his education at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, one of the most prestigious military educational institutions in the United States (USA).

"After that, with the support of Krapović, he was able to continue his postgraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he is engaged in research and application of artificial intelligence," the statement said.

Krapović emphasized that Janjušević's success is confirmation that Montenegro has young and extremely talented people who, with their knowledge and work, can equally assert themselves at the world's most prestigious educational and scientific institutions.

"Montenegro's most valuable resource is not its natural resources, but its people, their knowledge, talent and willingness to contribute to the development of society with their work. That is precisely why your professional path and the results you achieve at the international level are a reason for the pride of the Ministry of Defense and the entire Montenegro," said Krapović.

He emphasized that he is convinced that the knowledge that Janjušević is gaining in the field of artificial intelligence will make a significant contribution, not only in Montenegro, but also in the international scientific and professional community.

Vuksanović pointed out the importance of continuous investment in the education and training of young people, emphasizing that knowledge, innovation and international experience are important resources for the development of every society.

Janjušević thanked for the welcome and the trust shown, stating that it was a great honor for him to have the opportunity to improve his skills at one of the world's leading universities, and that he would strive to use the acquired knowledge in the best way.
