UCG launches mobile application EIndex UCG

The University of Montenegro (UCG) announced that it has launched the EIndex UCG mobile application.

EIndex UCG is, as they state, a new digital service that provides students with fast, simple and secure access to academic information and services.

"The application is available for free on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android phones. It is intended for students of all faculties and academies of the University of Montenegro and represents a mobile version of the existing student information system. The aim of the application is to facilitate students' everyday access to academic data and services, without the need to use the web version of the system via computer," the UCG statement states.

According to them, an active student account at the University of Montenegro is required to use the application.

"Students can log in with the same data they use in the existing system, i.e. with the username and password of the student account. The application allows students to view the schedule of lectures and exercises by day, week and semester, view grades and exam results, register for exams directly from the application, view the list of enrolled and passed exams, as well as monitor academic progress," the statement said.

As explained by the University of Montenegro, students can receive notifications from professors and faculties through the application, check the status of tuition and payments, access personal data and data about the study program, and a new electronic attendance record functionality is also available.

"The EIndex UCG application represents another step in improving the digital services of the University of Montenegro and provides students with faster, simpler and more accessible access to information important for everyday studying," the statement concludes.
