On the occasion of July 17th - Andrijevica Municipality Day, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Željko Ćulafić, the President of the Municipal Assembly, Mr. Vesko Raketić, the councilors, as well as all the citizens of Andrijevica, announced the Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy, Aleksa Bečić.

He added that Andrijevica is a place with a rich history, a strong identity, and exceptional natural beauty.

"Located between the magnificent Komovi, Bjelasica and Prokletije, on the banks of the Lim River, it has potential that far exceeds its geographical boundaries. This region has all the prerequisites to become a strong center for the development of sustainable tourism and agriculture in northern Montenegro, to which the current Government is strongly contributing through the continuation of the construction of the Highway, a section of which will make Andrijevica accessible in just forty minutes from Podgorica. That is precisely why the development of northern Montenegro must remain one of the key priorities of state policy. Because these are not just infrastructure projects, but a historic investment in a more balanced development of Montenegro and a stronger perspective for the entire Vasojevići and Plav-Gusinj basin region," said Bečić.

He said that he is convinced that Andrijevica, relying on its rich tradition, natural resources and, above all, on hardworking and capable people, will continue on the path of development and prosperity.
