Montenegro receives around 3,4 million euros in EU support for public administration reform

Montenegro was paid around 3,4 million euros from European Union funds today, as part of the sectoral budget support program for public administration reform and public financial management, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Administration announced.

They said that the payment of the first variable tranche is the result of successful coordination and joint work of the two departments, the Human Resources Administration and other competent institutions on meeting the defined reform goals and indicators.

Of this amount, EUR 13,1 million is intended for direct budget support, while EUR 3,5 million is allocated to complementary support projects. A fixed tranche of EUR 3,5 million was disbursed in December 2023.
