Mandić: Berane deserves greater and more specific attention from state institutions

The President of the Assembly, Andrija Mandić, said that Berane deserves greater and more concrete attention from state institutions.

He congratulated the local government leadership and citizens on the Day of the Municipality.

"On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Day of the Municipality of Berane. Your city, as well as the entire Vasojević region, occupy an important place in the historical, cultural and identity heritage of our country. Therefore, it is our common duty to contribute, through responsible action and stronger cooperation, to improving the living conditions of all citizens of Berane and the surrounding areas," Mandić emphasized.

He said that as President of the Parliament, he will continue to encourage stronger institutional connections between the parliament and local self-government, "in the best interest of citizens who rightly expect visible results, development and a more secure future."

"In a time when stability, dialogue and mutual understanding are of particular importance, it is necessary for the state and local authorities to act responsibly, dedicatedly and in the spirit of partnership. Only with such an approach can we build a stronger, fairer and more prosperous Montenegro. Celebrating this significant date is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the values ​​of togetherness, mutual respect and perseverance in achieving progress. I believe that Berane has the strength and potential to once again take the place that rightfully belongs to it - a place of honor, dignity and development. Once again, I congratulate you on the Day of the Municipality, with my best wishes for the personal well-being and overall progress of all citizens of Berane," Mandić wrote.
