The Railway Transport of Montenegro (ŽPCG) has enabled passengers to purchase train tickets for international and domestic traffic online, the state-owned company announced.
Executive Director of ŽPCG Dragana Lukšić said that, starting today, online purchase of train tickets for international trains between Montenegro and Serbia, as well as for all domestic railway transport routes on the territory of Montenegro, is enabled via the ŽPCG website.
She pointed out that the introduction of online ticket sales for international and domestic traffic represents an important step in the modernization of the company's services.
"Our goal is to enable passengers to purchase train tickets in a simpler, faster and more accessible way, without the need to go to the ticket office. By introducing online sales, we are continuing the process of digitalizing services and improving the user experience, so that rail transport is even more accessible and modern," said Lukšić.
ŽPCG said that passengers can purchase train tickets for international high-speed train No. 432/433 Bar–Zemun–Bar and seasonal international high-speed train No. 1130/1131 Bar–Subotica-Bar, including seat reservations and other services available within the online sales system.
"For international high-speed trains, purchased tickets and seat reservations are displayed from the web application or printed on A4 paper (PDF tickets received by e-mail)," the statement said.
At the same time, online purchase of train tickets for all domestic routes in Montenegro is available from today.
Purchase of international and domestic train tickets is available via the website Railway transport of Montenegro, or directly via platforms.
After making a purchase, as explained by ŽPCG, passengers receive the purchased train ticket via e-mail, all necessary instructions for its use, as well as additional support regarding the purchase.
For all additional information and support regarding online ticket sales, as well as any complaints, passengers can contact us via e-mail at ticketinfo@zpcg.me.
ŽPCG announced that the company will continue to invest in modern digital solutions that enable passengers to use rail transport more simply, more accessible and of higher quality.
