Adaptation of handball and five-a-side football fields in Pljevlja completed

The work on the adaptation of the handball and five-a-side football fields at the "Pod Golubinjom" City Stadium in Pljevlja has been successfully completed, the Sports and Recreation Center announced.

The value of the project was 49.918 euros.

According to the Center, the Ministry of Sports and Youth financially supported the project with 30.000 euros, after the Municipality of Pljevlja submitted the application and project documentation. The remaining funds were provided by the Municipality of Pljevlja and Monteput DOO Podgorica.

As part of the works, the field was completely reconstructed. A new tartan surface was installed, the concrete fence around the field was renovated, and new chairs for the reserve players were installed. The tartan surface was installed by the company "Maraton LDN", while the concrete works were carried out by the company "Ving" DOO Pljevlja.

The Center for Sports and Recreation thanked the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Municipality of Pljevlja, Monteput, as well as the contractors for their support in the implementation of the project.

As they pointed out, the completion of the adaptation has created better conditions for training, sports competitions and recreational activities, which will benefit athletes and all citizens who use the facilities at the City Stadium "Pod Golubinjom".
