Motorcyclists organized a protest in Podgorica due to certain provisions of the amendments to the Law on Traffic Safety that, in their opinion, are unfavorable for this category of drivers.
The motorcyclists said the goal of the protest was to show numbers and solidarity and highlight issues they consider important for this community.
Representative of the motorcycle community, Ivan Božović, pointed out the problem of passing a completely stopped column of vehicles, especially in the summer when it is 40 degrees and they are in full protective gear.
He stressed that they support rigorous measures for reckless drivers.
He also pointed out that there is no parking space for motorcyclists in Podgorica and that it is absurd for them to park in places reserved for cars.
Božović said that they started writing them tickets for parking in other areas.
