The Montenegrin Coast Regional Water Supply Company announced that the water supply problems in Sveti Stefan are not a consequence of the work of the regional water supply company.
"Regarding yesterday's failure at the Bolje Sestre substation, the Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast emphasizes that the failure was repaired in record time, and that it did not cause an interruption in the water supply of the Montenegrin coast. The problems in the water supply of Sveti Stefan are not a consequence of the work of the Regional Waterworks. Namely, today the Regional Waterworks received a request from the local Budva Waterworks, after which the Regional Waterworks immediately gave its consent and found an appropriate technical solution, within its jurisdiction and capabilities," the state-owned company states.
The regional water supply company, as they point out, remains committed to a stable and safe water supply to the Montenegrin coast and will continue to provide support in resolving problems in the distribution system, within its jurisdiction.
"At the same time, it is important that the public is informed in a timely and objective manner about the responsibilities of all entities in the water supply system," the company points out.
