The gift packages for first-graders that were handed out this morning in Budva elementary schools by the Mayor of Budva Municipality Nikola Jovanović included "Pričaonica", a workbook for the Serbian language, as well as a poster with the 30-letter alphabet.

Some parents sent "Vijesti" a photo of a workbook printed in a publishing house in Čačak, as well as an alphabet missing ś and ź.

Montenegrin first-graders must master the 32-letter alphabet by the end of this school year, through the subjects Montenegrin-Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian language and literature.

As "Vijesti" was told, the administration of one elementary school allegedly threw out a "disputed" workbook from a package while it was "leaking", leaving the alphabet behind. At another institution, however, first-graders received the alphabet.

The Municipality did not respond to "Vijesti" about how the content of the gift package came to be formed in this way.
