The snow that whitened the entire Kolašin municipality on Wednesday caused considerable damage to the entire infrastructure in the National Park "Biogradska Gora".
As the director of that NP, Saša Jeknić, said, the electrical grid was damaged, as well as the roof covering of the new restaurant. "Several trees fell on the road from Kraljevo kol to Biograd Lake, as well as on the footpath around the lake. The furniture was damaged, and due to a power failure caused by the storm, the bungalows, which we use as accommodation facilities, are without electricity. At the restaurant, which is in the final stage of construction, the roof, facade, and heat pump were damaged. I suspect that the melting of the snow will cause even more damage," said Jeknić. According to his words, NP workers have already started remediation of the consequences caused by the storm.
