The park where the construction of the kindergarten in Bar was planned was razed to the ground, and civil activists reported to the Municipal Police yesterday that trucks from the construction site, loaded with the remains of felled trees and excavated soil, leave inadequately equipped - without a tarp over the materials they are carrying, without an escort, and at the intersection near the Three Towers, they permanently violate traffic regulations, ignoring the sign prohibiting turning left.

Even after two days, the Biram Bar (BB) party did not receive an answer to the question of "Vijesti" whether their councilors in Bar Bar will sign the request of nine opposition councilors to convene an extraordinary session of the Bar dedicated to the eventual calling of a referendum on the construction of a kindergarten in that place.

Last Saturday, the signatures that normally provide a quorum for the opposition's request, the necessary third of councilors, were conditioned by the invitation of representatives of the Citizens' Initiative to do so. On the same day, the GI replied that they are not thinking about any invitations to political parties, because they work exclusively as citizens, and they left it to the political parties to decide according to the case at their discretion. At the fourth protest walk, held three days ago, for the first time there was no visible presence of BB councilors, unlike the previous ones. About the "Vrtić" case, only the Bar DPS spoke out yesterday, which, as expected, supported the construction.

"DPS promised the citizens the construction of a kindergarten as a development project in its election program back in 2014, which received majority support in the local elections held at that time. We received the support of the citizens in the following parliamentary, local and presidential elections, which confirmed our vision of development as correct among the citizens of Bar. We took part in making all the necessary decisions for the construction of a kindergarten at the location provided by the DUP Topolica I, which was adopted by the Municipal Assembly almost a decade ago, which was preceded by a public discussion. After all the legal and technical procedures have been fulfilled, the owner of the plot and the investor in this building, the Ministry of Education, together with the Directorate of Public Works, started work on the construction of the building in December 2018, the construction period of which is 12 months", it was announced from of Bar DPS.
