At the third "PMS Women's Regatta", held in Vala on Vis last weekend, the Tivat and Herzegovinian club Montenegro Sailing Team won second place.

The team led by Tivat's JK Delfin sailor Majda Begović showed their skills in the fierce competition of double sailing among 11 teams from seven European countries.

The title of Montenegro at the third "Historic Mediterranean Women's Meeting" slipped away by only 20 seconds, and they were overtaken only by the favorite team Frappa from Rogoznica, which is the winner for the third time since the organization of this regatta meeting, which further emphasizes the success of the Bokele sailors.

"With the youngest team at the regatta and a strong wind atypical for sailing in Boka Kotorska, we managed and proved that a sailing team with good organization, training and will can be on par with the best. We will continue with intensive training, and we believe in the title for next calendar year at the PMS regatta. We already have an open invitation for the Easter Regatta on Hvar," said Porto Montenegro Yachting Club coordinator Mia Prekajski, who was also one of the crew members of this women's sailing team.

The other members of the team were: Stefani Racić, Nikoleta Franović, Teodora Vojvodić, Ana Verigo and skipper Majda Begović.
