The operation of Podgorilka construction company "Artek" continued today in Krašići the action of removing illegal structures that have entered the route of the new lungo mare pedestrian path in that settlement, which is being jointly built by the Municipality of Tivat and the Public Enterprise (JP) Morsko dobro.

After a delay of almost a month caused by administrative-procedural reasons, the excavator "Arteka" today demolished the retaining wall of the villa whose investor is the company "Adriabau", and as announced, its swimming pool, which also encroaches on the path of the promenade, will collapse in the near future.

The intervention was attended by police officers from the Tivat Security Department, representatives of the Municipal Police, construction inspector of the Ministry of Sustainable Looms and Tourism Vladan Juretić and Tivat Municipality manager Marko Petričević, who is also the coordinator of the lungo mare pedestrian path construction project in Krašići.

Petričević said that so far a dozen orders have been issued for the demolition of illegal single-story structures next to villas on the seashore in Krašići, on the route of the first phase of the future promenade, and that the works were slow because the Municipality, as an investor, strictly complies with the legal procedures that the municipality must fulfill before a single object collapses.

He said that none of the violators of the law will be exempted and that everything that was built in violation of the law and the provisions of the State Location Study for Krašić will be demolished.

The contractor for the construction of the first phase of the lungo mare promenade in Krašići, the company "Artek" is obliged to complete the work within a year.

It is a 400-meter-long promenade from the end of Krašić in the part towards Petrovići, east towards the center of that weekend settlement on the coast of the Luštica peninsula in the Tivat Bay.

The investment worth 800.000 euros, which should gradually solve the problem of illegal usurpation and concreting of the coast in Krašići, is jointly implemented by the Municipality of Tivat and JP "Morsko dobro".

So far, the municipality has expropriated the land, prepared the project documentation and construction permit, implemented the tender procedure and selected the contractor and supervision, and will cover the costs of demolishing illegal buildings.
