Serbian citizen Ivan Radović (34) from Arandjelovac was sent to the Spuška prison yesterday on suspicion of having seriously injured his friend Ž with a carpenter's axe. S.
The incident happened the night before last at around 20.30:XNUMX PM in a tavern in Lastva Grabljaksa, when Radović took out an ax and hit the man who was sitting at the table with him several times on the head with the blunt part.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the suspect and his friend are manual laborers and have been working together for years in Lastva Grbaljska.
A "Vijesti" source close to the investigation said that they consumed alcohol that evening in the bar, which probably caused a peaceful conversation to turn into a verbal and then physical conflict.
"Radović then took out the carpenter's ax he was carrying and started hitting his friend on the head. "From the blows, the man fell unconscious and the staff of the bar immediately called an ambulance and the police," said the interlocutor of "Vijesti".
The Budva police soon arrested Radović, while S. Ž. hospitalized in the Kotor General Hospital, where he was diagnosed with severe physical injuries.
Investigating judge of the Kotor Basic Court Spiro Pavićević confirmed to "Viješta" that he heard Radović in the presence of a defense attorney, and then remanded him in custody for up to 30 days.
The Serbian citizen is accused of having committed a criminal offense - causing serious bodily injury.
