Part of the passengers who flew to Belgrade this morning on the "Air Serbia" plane were left without their luggage.
Several of them told "Vijesta" that no one at the Podgorica airport informed them that the luggage was not packed.
Podgorica Airport Deputy Director Goran Otašević said that 171 pieces of luggage did not go on Air Serbia flight 13 due to weight restrictions.
"The plane that operated on the Podgorica-Belgrade route was small and therefore could not fit all the luggage," Otašević said.
He said that part of the luggage will be sent by the next Air Serbia plane at 15.10:18 p.m., part by the Montenegro Airlines plane at 20.50 p.m., and the rest will be transferred at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. by Air Serbia plane.
"Luggage will be sent according to priorities. It is not a mistake of Podgorica Airport, but the procedures must be followed. It is not uncommon for such things to happen, and passengers who often travel by plane know this," Otašević said.
Most of the travelers left for New Year's Eve in European countries.
"Almost all of us from Belgrade are traveling further and we have no information about where our things are, when and how they will be sent to us. At the Air Serbia counter in Belgrade, they told us that our luggage was simply not packed on the plane," she told "Vijesta" earlier. " one of the passengers.
The spokeswoman of Aerodromi Crne Gore, Milica Babić, previously referred to Dragan Milanović, the director of Aerodrom Podgorica.
Milanović said earlier that he did not know what it was about, that he would check with the operatives and report what the problem was.
