In an effort to expand and update its privacy policy to include "private media," Twitter is making a big change.
Sharing footage and photos of people without permission will be prohibited.
According to their existing privacy policy, the publication of other people's private information such as - phone numbers, addresses and ID cards is already not allowed, as well as financial and medical information.
Concerned about the misuse of the media, Twitter suspects that sharing images and videos can potentially violate a person's privacy.
