Knežević said that he will not attend the meeting with Milatović

The holder of the electoral list of the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" (ZBCG) and the leader of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević said that he will not attend the meeting with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.

The Information Service of the President of Montenegro announced today that on Monday, May 29, Milatović will meet with representatives of political entities participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections on June 11 in Villa Gorica.

From the pre-election meeting of the ZBCG coalition in Pljevliji, Knežević told Milatović that thanks to the votes of the ZBCG coalition and the invitation of the presidential candidate of the Democratic Front (DF), Andrija Mandić, he achieved a convincing victory in the presidential elections over the candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Milo Đukanović, and that he would not attend the meeting to which he was invited.

"Mr. Milatović, thanks to the votes of the Democratic Front, thanks to Andrija Mandić's call, thanks to all of us, you achieved a convincing victory over Milo Đukanović on April 2. Although until March 19 you accused us of being two sides of the same coin and that we wanted to go with the Democratic the Socialist Party and that we agreed everything with Milo Đukanović. We showed responsibility, we showed wisdom, we showed seriousness because we knew that the citizens of Montenegro would vote mostly against Milo Đukanović, and only then for Jakov Milatović in the second round," he pointed out. He added "that this is true, they show on April 22 and 23, when you remained in a convincing minority on the Main Board, that not a single member voted for you in the conflict with Milojko Spajić".

"This is the best indicator of how deceptive the will of the people is and how people clearly determine who and what they say and who does what. And that's why I want to inform you from Pljevlja that I finished with class elders back in '98 and that my class elder , the last in his life, Vojislav Knežević and that I don't want a new class elder, Jakov Milatović. Since he said that he is the president of all the citizens of Montenegro, I invite him that if he wants to talk with us, he should first resign from the position of one of the leaders of the Europe Now Movement , to undertake to influence Milojko Spajić not to go with the DPS, because everyone sees at this moment what the embassies are doing, the international factor PES and DPS. On Wednesday, Milatović announced that on Thursday, all holders of electoral lists for the extraordinary parliamentary elections on June 11 will receive an invitation to a meeting on Monday.

"I will start the political dialogue on Monday, and I will continue it after the election," said Milatović at the press conference with US Senators Chris Murphy and Gary Peters.

Milatović called for a meeting on Thursday.

The State Election Commission (SEC) announced 15 lists for the June 11 elections.

The lists of the "People's Coalition", the Social Democratic Party (SDP), "We can", the Movement for Changes (PzP), the People's Movement "Private for All", the coalition gathered around the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the coalition of Democrats and the Civic Movement ( GP) URA, the list of the Bosniak Party (BS) and the list of the Croatian Civic Initiative (HGI).

The lists of the Europe Now Movement (PES), the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" (ZBCG) consisting of Nova, DNP and the Workers' Party, the alliance of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and Demos, and the lists of the Albanian Forum, the Albanian Alliance and Preokreta have also been announced.

The lists of the Montenegrin Civic Action and "La casa de papel" were rejected.
