The Minister of Finance, Aleksandar Damjanović, said after today's session of the National Security Council that the illegal crypto machine in Tivat is also connected to George Cottrell.
"We have been informed that there is a crypto machine in the municipality of Tivat that is used for the trading of cryptocurrencies. We know that there is no legal basis for the trading of cryptocurrencies in Montenegro and that everything related to possible trade through that machine is illegal. Detailed control and supervision of that platform in Tivat, to determine when it was installed, who used it, etc.," he said at the press conference.
He said that this platform is connected, among other things, to George Cottrell.
"There is data on how the platform was imported, how the equipment was imported, which company imported it, who manages that equipment... A network of people, seven or eight, who are involved," he pointed out.
The leader of the Movement for Change, Nebojša Medojević, yesterday called Kotrel one of the financiers of Brexit, who was arrested in the USA and accused of money laundering through cryptocurrencies, but also that he lives in Montenegro and that he "gave Spajić money for PES campaigns".
