After the session of the Defense for Security and Defense, I am seriously concerned about personal safety and tomorrow I will ask for a new security assessment, said Minister of Justice Andrej Milović.
"Personally, I feel that I am threatened. Because if information about my private life and my movements is disclosed, organized criminal groups (OKG) can very easily get to me and threaten my safety and that of my family. So, honestly I say, I feel threatened," Milović told A plus television last night.
Milović believes that he is at risk, especially since he proposed certain changes to the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) that persons from OKG and special cases should not be released after three years, unless they receive a final verdict.
"I feel threatened because of all the messages I have received since then and now, where we have the head of the SPO who is supposed to protect me, he publicly compromises me, talks about my movements. Even MP Dritan Abazović asks me 'have you been to Hungary? ', as if I am guilty of something. So they publicly say where I move, with whom, what, how, where I was, instead of there being a degree of my protection, here there is a degree of disclosure of all private information and that in the worst possible way - through manipulation," he said.
Milović added that this is precisely why he will ask for a new security assessment to be made.
"What was heard at the Board and in the deaf room is something that, as the Minister of Justice and a protected person, should be seriously worried about. I believe that the person currently most responsible for security in our system will also be worried, and that is Aleksa Bečić, who is coordinator of BOK services, and the Minister of Internal Affairs. What was done to me has not yet happened - that part of the system provides public information about the Minister of Justice. So, starting tomorrow, a new phase will begin when it comes to my activities towards the institutions ", said Milović.
